#2 When is the best time to visit the island?

Here in the Philippines, and of course in Boracay is in a tropical climate which means there are two seasons, the rainy and the dry season. The rainy season begins around June and end in October while the dry season runs from November to May. May is the warmest month while January is the coolest month.

On an average day, the temperature on Boracay is always high. But expect cold weather when rainy day comes. So to speak, going on dry months like April and May is the best time to visit the island but if you want to avoid its peak season travel on a rainy season where prices are low.

#3 What are the best cheap restaurants in Boracay?

In a tourist spot like Boracay, we usually expect food that is priced so high. Its prices are for tourist and for some middle classed locals but actually there are some restos available to dine in here. To name some here are the top three:

Happy Home

For Happy Home, they serve both local and foreign delicacies. Included on their menu for local food are pancit and chicken adobo. For foreign cuisines, they serve hamburgers, spaghetti and burritos. The prices of the food vary but their cheapest is at P150 pesos without drinks.

Mang Fred’s

This restaurant is located within the D’Mall area, Mang Fred’s resto offers local cuisines which is reasonably price of 200 pesos. The delicacy that I loved here is their Chicken Curry.

Mang Inasal

For locals, Mang Inasal is known as a common fast food restaurant in the Philippines that offers delicious grilled chicken with an incredibly affordable price. For just a hundred pesos, you will taste a delicious chicken which comes with an unlimited rice feature. The chicken here is best dipped with “toyo-mansi” (soy sauce and calamansi) with vinegar and chili(optional). This delicacy is a must try for foreigners.
